Argus

Terms of service

Last updated:

These terms govern your use of Argus, a hosted profiling-data dashboard for Unity games operated by [Your Company]. By creating an account you agree to them; if you don't, please don't sign up.

1. The service

Argus ingests profiling data your Unity builds send via API and presents it as searchable, chartable history. The plan tiers and the limits each one carries are listed at /pricing and may change with 30 days' notice for paid plans.

2. Your account

  • You're responsible for keeping your password and API keys safe.
  • You're responsible for what your team does under your organisation — adding members grants them the rights described under each role.
  • We may suspend an account that's actively abusing the service (e.g. ingesting other people's data without permission, attempting to break tenant isolation, sending spam through our domain).

3. Your data

You own everything you put into Argus. We process it on your behalf to provide the service, as detailed in our privacy policy. We don't use your profiling data to train models, sell to advertisers, or share with anyone outside the sub-processor list at /legal/sub-processors.

For B2B customers requiring a Data Processing Agreement (GDPR Article 28), contact support@argus-profiler.com.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer the service to extract other tenants' data.
  • Probe for security vulnerabilities except under a coordinated disclosure; we welcome reports at support@argus-profiler.com.
  • Use Argus to store data you don't have the right to process (e.g. profiling data from a game whose users haven't agreed to it).
  • Resell access to the dashboard to third parties without our written agreement.

5. Billing

  • Paid plans bill monthly in advance via Stripe; subscription auto-renews until you cancel.
  • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current period; we don't pro-rate refunds for partial months.
  • If a payment fails we put the account into a 7-day grace period before reverting to Free quotas.
  • Plan changes take effect immediately for upgrades, at the next renewal for downgrades.

6. Service availability

We aim for high availability but don't commit to a contractual SLA at Free or Pro tiers. Team and Enterprise plans include written uptime commitments and credits for missed targets — see your contract.

7. Modifications

We may update these terms; material changes are announced 30 days in advance by email to your billing address. Continuing to use the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

8. Termination

Either side can end the relationship at any time. We'll keep your data accessible for 30 days after termination so you can export it; after that it's deleted.

9. Liability

Argus is provided "as is". To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are never liable for lost profits, lost data, or consequential damages.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction]. Disputes go to the courts of [Jurisdiction], except where consumer law in your country guarantees you the right to your local courts.
